Bilkent University will host two researchers in 2025 as part of the TÜBİTAK 2232-B International Fellowship for Young Researchers Program.
Dr. Enis Kaya from the Department of Mathematics has been awarded support for his project titled “The quadratic Chabauty method at primes of bad reduction & rational points on modular curves.” The project focuses on developing an algorithm to apply the quadratic Chabauty method at primes of bad reduction and using it to determine rational points on algebraic curves.
Dr. Ata Dönmez from the Department of Mechanical Engineering has also received support under the same program. His project looks at nonlinear dynamic problems in mechanical power transmission systems and aims to contribute to the design of more reliable, efficient, and quieter next-generation systems in areas such as aerospace, defense, renewable energy, and electrified transportation.
