We are pleased to inform you that “The Intellectual Property Rights Policy Document” of Bilkent University came into operation.
Upon the applications of Academicians and Researchers of Bilkent University to Bilkent TTO, who want to commercialize their inventions by Bilkent TTO, in order to protect the inventions regarding the applications to the designated authorities, monitoring the applications, making registrations and commercialization, in accordance with the Intellectual Property Rights Evaluation Board’s evaluation and the approval of Higher Board of Intellectual Property Rights, providing the necessary assistance has been identified as the Intellectual Property Rights Policy of Bilkent University.
Bilkent TTO, on behalf of Bilkent University, will manage all the technical, administrative, legal and financial process.
If you do not prefer your invention to be commercialized by Bilkent TTO, the invention remains as free invention. These Academicians and Researchers who will apply for their invention individually, could also request guidance from Bilkent TTO. In line with the request, Bilkent TTO provides every kind of support to the inventor that does not create financial obligations.
