Science Academy BAGEP 2026 Results Announced

Young Scientists Award Program (BAGEP), conducted by the Science Academy, was established to support outstanding young researchers and enhance their visibility in the scientific community. In addition to contributing to the advancement of scientific research, the program aims to ensure that the work of young scientists reaches a broader audience.

Since 2013, BAGEP awards have been presented to identify, recognize, and encourage successful young academics in Turkey, supporting them in pursuing new research.

Within the scope of the 2026 BAGEP Awards, the following researchers  from Bilkent University have been deemed worthy of the award for their outstanding achievements:

  • Prof. Alexander Paul Moran (PHIL)
  • Prof. Alireza Fatollahi (PHIL)
  • Prof. Çağlayan Başer (IR)
  • Prof. Enis Kaya (MATH)
  • Prof. Özlem Tuğfe Demir (EE)
  • Prof. Zahide Pamir Karatok (PSYC)

The 2026 BAGEP Ceremony will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, during which the awards will be presented to their recipients.
