The TÜBİTAK 1001 Scientific and Technological Research Projects Funding Program supports projects conducted at universities and research centers that aim to generate new knowledge and develop solutions to scientific or technological challenges.
In 2025, a total of 35 projects from Bilkent University and the Bilkent National Nanotechnology Research Center (UNAM) were awarded funding under the TÜBİTAK 1001 program. The success rate for 1001 applications was 55% for the 1st Term of 2025 and 50% for the 2nd Term.

The 3501 Career Development Program focuses on providing project support to researchers who have recently received their doctoral degrees and are at the beginning of their careers. In 2025, 5 members of Bilkent University were selected to receive funding under this program.
