Dr. Dragan Ilic received his PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2014. His dissertation From Double Words to Double Truths: A Rhetoric of Skepticism in the Modernist Novel explores skeptical narrative procedures in writers such as Joseph Conrad, Ilya Ehrenburg, Nathanael West, and Samuel Beckett. His research focuses on the relationship between philosophy and literature in the twentieth century, particularly in the British/Irish, American, and Russian traditions. His interests include literary criticism, critical theory, literary modernism, philosophical skepticism, epic, and film studies.
