Bilkent TTO aims to establish successful university-industry collaborations by facilitating the development of innovation-based research and development projects whose outcomes can be used by the industry. Within this context, the priority is to contribute to the economy by combining knowledge and experience of the academicians together with the needs and the experience of the industry.
Bilkent TTO supports its stakeholders at every stage of this process and offers the following services:
Creating and developing collaboration
- Evaluating collaboration requests from both industry partners and researchers to bring project ideas to life,
- Matching the company and researcher profiles in our portfolio according to research areas and requests,
- Introducing university research infrastructures to industry and encouraging joint R&D activities,
- Conducting business development and project process management.
Accessing the funds and contract management process
- Encouraging the utilization of national and international funds in joint R&D studies,
- Identifying appropriate funding sources and assessment of available options together with the relevant parties,
- Managing the application process for funding sources in coordination with the working group,
- Supporting preparation of the contract and project budget.
