Important Reminder about TUBITAK Ethics Rules

Due to the increase in the number of referrals to TUBITAK Committee on Research and Publication Ethics (AYEK), TUBITAK wants to remind you some important issues. Project outputs, obtained during the project lifetime and/or after the project completion, should be correlated with the concerned project through ARDEB Project tracking system (PTS – ardeb-pts.tubitak.gov.tr). It is important to pay attention to the following issues:

1. In all presentations and publications (articles, books, papers, thesis, etc.) including the results of the project, TÜBİTAK support should be specified.

The outputs which TUBITAK support is mandatory are listed below;
a.Article (TUBITAK support should be mentioned with the project number.)

b.Book/Book Chapter (TUBITAK support should be mentioned with the project number.)

c.Invited Speaker, speech copy/ presentation (printed form) and invitation letter must be uploaded to the system (TUBITAK support should be mentioned with the project number.)

d.Academic Paper
• Oral Presentation: A document proving the participation and published statement (full text or summary) should be uploaded to the system. For the full text, TUBITAK support should be mentioned with the project number, for summaries this procedure is not required.
• Poster Presentation: A document proving the participation, poster and if applicable published statement (full text or summary) should be uploaded to the system. If the statement and poster are uploaded together, TUBITAK support should be mentioned with the project number in the statement. If only poster is uploaded, TUBITAK support should be mentioned with the project number in the poster.

e.Thesis (MS/PhD) (TUBITAK support should be mentioned with the project number.)

f.Dissemination (News in national / international printed / visual media) for both published texts and visuals, TÜBİTAK support must be specified and documents related to these should be uploaded to the system. (For printed media, the text of the news, for visual media the video recording should be uploaded)

2. Without written permission of TUBITAK, TUBITAK’s logo cannot be used in any publication, work and processes related with the funded projects.
