A cooperation protocol was signed between Ankara Metropolitan Municipality and Bilkent University for the Ulus Incubation Center. The historical Ulus Business Center, located within the Ulus Business Complex and intented to be transformed into a technology hub, is planned to be operated by Bilkent CYBERPARK. The Ulus Incubation Center will meet the needs of individual entrepreneurs planning to start or just starting their entrepreneurial journey, as well as incubating companies. The goal is to provide them with the support they need, especially in education, mentoring, and international commercialization, to transform them into qualified companies that have reached the level of commercialization and contribute to the country’s economy. Bilkent CYBERPARK, with its years of experience in running incubation programs, will empower entrepreneurs.
Through the cooperation between Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, Bilkent University, and Bilkent CYBERPARK, it has gained valuable experience by opening and successfully operating the first out-of-region incubation center in Türkiye. Leveraging its ongoing programs and accumulated experience, it aims to provide services such as participation in exhibitions, trade events, customer meetings, and investor meetings to help entrepreneurs commercialize their business ideas.
During the signing ceremony, which took place at the Presidential Office, the declaration was signed by Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) President Mansur Yavaş and Bilkent University Rector Prof. Dr. Kürşat Aydoğan. President Mansur Yavaş stated, ‘These centers are important for increasing the production of value-added products in Ankara. We hope their numbers will increase.’ He also expressed his wishes to continue supporting entrepreneurs.
