This year we have celebrated new year early by combining it with the Aysel Sabuncu Brain Research Center 2016 Scientific Meeting. The day started with Dr. Emre Guven’s excellent talk on compressed sensing. First Graduate of Bilkent Neuroscience Program

Fazilet Zeynep Yıldırım (Graduate Researcher at UMRAM) successfully defended her MS thesis titled “Changes in fMRI resting state networks due to audiovisual induced effects on visual motion perception”. Her supervisor was  Dr. Hulusi Kafaligonul from UMRAM. Zeynep has become the first graduate of the Bilkent Neuroscience Program. Onur Gunturkun’s Visit

Onur Gunturkun a professor of behavioral neuroscience at at Ruhr University (Bochum, Gemany) visited Bilkent University on Saturday May 28th. He visited  the Aysel Sabuncu Brain center and met faculty and students from the neuroscience program . He also visited research facilities at UMRAM and received information about the research at this center.
